Riding and riding lessons are also available at the Woodgate Valley Park and throughout all of the Birmingham parks there is cumulatively 2000 walking and running routes that cross through the city and across the allotments.  Therefore, you can slowly work your way through the park and city by following the paths as you walk your way towards better physical health.  Some of the pathways even have fitness centres that are set up along the pathways so that you can stop while jogging and do some toning and stretching exercises to supplement your daily cardio exercises.
